Starting in 2021, the Carter Center’s U.S.-China Perception Monitor fields surveys of Chinese public opinion about international relations. It’s first two surveys examined Chinese public opinion on the United States and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It’s surveys have since been cited in articles across the web, including in The Guardian, Bloomberg, Nature, Foreign Policy, The Diplomat, South China Morning Post, and more.
In addition, the U.S.-China Perception Monitor also invites scholars of public opinion in U.S.-China relations to write about their cutting-edge research. Check out the U.S.-China Perception Monitor website for more information.
